The Sports, Medicine and Health Summit 2021
From April 20 to 24, 2021, the Sports, Medicine and Health Summit (SMHS) celebrated its premiere in Hamburg. The newly developed scientific conference, which had to be held purely virtually due to the Corona pandemic, brought together a total of 1,400 national and international physicians, scientists, therapists, trainers and many other interested parties from the fields of sports, medicine and health. In this new interdisciplinary format, they addressed current topics and research results in around 400 presentations and 180 poster contributions.

But the digital exchange worked very well, we had excellent, international chairs for all sessions, which induced lively discussions. Overall, the congress had really high scientific quality, offered many very good educational opportunities, was interesting, relevant, and had diverse offerings for practice."

The very first Sports, Medicine and Health Summit took place in April 2021. This established a unique format for continuing education that maps the interdisciplinarity beween sports and medicine at a high scientific level while simultaneously connecting to the sports practice.
