Guidelines for Poster Presenters
We are delighted that you are part of the Sports, Medicine and Health Summit 2025 programme. The poster exhibition will take place in the Poster Area of the Expo & Sports Zone of the Congress Centre Hamburg (CCH). Below you will find all information for your physical poster.
Poster format
- For abstracts which have been accepted as a poster, a physical poster has to be prepared and brought to Hamburg.
- The entire poster can have a maximum size of 147 cm high x 97 cm wide (portrait style). The poster does not necessarily have to fill the entire working area.
- Poster authors are requested to use the adhesive material provided by the congress staff only. Material to attach the posters to the poster walls is available at the poster counter in the poster area. Double-sided tape will be provided to put up posters. We recommend light paper posters rather than fabric or heavy weight posters, in order to make sure that posters don‘t come off the walls.
- For the font of your poster, it is recommended to use large, semi-bold letters, at least 5 mm high. The text should be easily legible from a distance of 2 - 3 m.
- Poster authors are requested to disclose potential conflicts of interest regarding the poster presentation at the bottom of their poster. This will allow the audience to take potential conflicts of interest into account when assessing the objectivity of the poster.
Poster exhibition
The poster exhibition will take place in the Poster Area of the Expo & Sports Zone of the Congress Center Hamburg (CCH). All posters will be displayed throughout the congress period.
Mounting of posters
Thursday, June 26, 2025 from 09:00 - 11:00 am. Please find the poster number in the email we have sent you.
Removal of posters
Saturday, June 28, 2025 from 03:30 - 04:30 pm
Poster session
If your poster has been accepted as a poster lecture, your poster will be displayed in the poster exhibition. The presentation of your poster will take place in one of the congress rooms of the CCH. Each poster is scheduled for a 5-minute presentation, followed by 3 minutes of discussion. Each session will be moderated by a chair. The presenting authors must be present during the respective poster session. Please prepare a maximum of 4 slides for your presentation. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the poster session.
To upload your presentation, you will receive an e-mail from our IT service provider ESTENSIS before the congress with a link via which you must upload your presentation. This must be uploaded at least 24 hours before your presentation.
Poster tour
Thirty-minute poster tours will take place regularly on all days. Each poster will have a 3-minute presentation followed by a 2-minute discussion. Each session will be moderated by a chairperson. Presenting authors must be present during the poster tour. Please arrive at the respective poster station at least 10 minutes before your poster tour.
