Global Alliance Day on Promoting Physical Activity

Physical Activity

The vision of the Sports, Medicine and Health Summit (SMHS) is to promote sustainable movement — physically, socially, and politically. Achieving this requires a strong and united alliance across sport, health, and policy sectors.

The Global Alliance Day will span two days, starting with a pre-programme on 26 June, followed by the main programme on 27 June 2025.

Leading institutions including the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the International Federation of Sports Medicine (FIMS), and the European Initiative for Exercise in Medicine (EIEIM) will join forces to share best practices and spark new momentum for advancing physical activity worldwide.

Don't miss this highlight of this year's Sports, Medicine and Health Summit.
