Call for Sessions

Who can submit sessions?

Researchers, sports physicians, therapists, coaches and other professionals who wish to share current knowledge in sport, medicine and health.

What can be submitted?

  • Scientific symposia
  • Clinical symposia
  • Workshops
  • Case Studies

For which topics can sessions be submitted?

Sessions can be submitted on the following thematic focus areas. Interdisciplinary and practice‑oriented contributions are expressly welcome.

1. Clinical, Sports Therapy & Rehabilitation
2. Prevention & Health Promotion
3. Performance Diagnostics & Training Management
4. Technological Innovations in Sport and Medicine
5. Specific Health Topics in Sport
6. Basic & Translational Sports Medicine

For the submission, we require the following information:

  • Title of the session
  • Description of the session in an overarching abstract (max. 300 words)
  • Selection of the session format
  • Titles of the individual contributions with brief content descriptions
  • Title, name and institution of both session chairs
  • Title, name and institution of up to three presenters of individual contributions
  • Target audience
  • Preferred day(s) of presentation

Important information regarding submission

  • The involvement of early‑career researchers and a balanced gender distribution will be viewed positively.
  • The person submitting the session proposal will also act as the session chair. Chairs are expected to contribute their own presentation to the session.
  • After the review by the programme committee, applicants will be informed by email in summer 2026 whether their proposal has been accepted or rejected.
  • All chairs must register before submitting a session proposal. In the event of acceptance, all chairs and all presenters will receive a complimentary ticket for the entire Summit.
  • Travel expenses will not be reimbursed.
  • When submitting a proposal, applicants must disclose any personal relationships with commercial companies and any potential conflicts of interest. These particularly apply if the applicant has a stake in a company or receives financial support from such companies.

How to submit?

1. Registration

Create a user account and activate it. Select the fee category that applies to you and register for the Summit.
Payment of the fee can be made at a later stage and is not required for the submission itself.

2. Submit your session proposal

Begin your submission by clicking the “Submit session” button and entering all required information.
